Welcome to the beginning… or maybe more accurately, a continuation. A creative rebirth. A full-circle moment that’s been decades in the making. My name is Felicia Sullivan (duh— which I figure you knew as much and that is how you’ve landed here). I’ve been designing, building, branding, and storytelling for nearly twenty years. This site is a portfolio, yes, but it’s also a personal archive— my creative diary. A living visual diary of what I’ve made, where I’ve been, and how I’ve grown.

What you’ll find here isn’t just finished work. You’ll find the stories behind it. The moments of burnout, the sparks of joy, the sketches, the scars, and the wins. I’m not here to polish things up just for show. I’m here to document the guts of it all: the process, the passion, the purpose, the journey.

It’s 2025… why a blog NOW?

Because for a long time, I wasn’t saying anything at all… I allowed others to squash my voice.

Burnout swallowed my creative voice.

2025 was the year I’ve started to take it back.

I had a creative push from a dear friend (and my accountability partner) to not only paint for the first time in 7 years but to also exhibit my first painting in 15 years. It wasn’t just a show, it was a reclamation. A reminder that I CAN create for myself, that I DO STILL HAVE IT, and my purpose is not just to create for clients or others. I create for myself. For healing. For joy. For the part of me that needs to make things in order to understand the world.

This blog exists to make space for that.

Here, I’ll be sharing process notes, behind-the-scenes insights, thoughts on design culture, life as a multi-hyphenate, journaling about life itself, and the messy, meaningful journey of staying creative in a world that often demands you shrink.

If you’re someone who’s ever felt like you had to ask permission to start over— consider this your sign that you don’t. You’re allowed to evolve. Loudly. Boldly. Visibly.
